COURSE NAME: A Journey into Aviation History & Leadership I
CREDIT HOURS: One (1) elective credit per trimester

REQUIRED TEXT/MATERIALS: A Journey into Aviation History; Leadership Education I; Cadets are required to bring a notebook, pen/pencil, folder to class every day.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a three trimester course designed to acquaint the student with the historical development of fight and the role of the military in history. Leadership I provides the basis for progression through the rest of AFJROTC while instilling elements of leadership, basic drill, health and fitness and good citizenship.
UNIFORM DAY: The wear of the Air Force uniform is required for this course. Students will be fitted with a complete uniform, required to conform to AF personal appearance standards, and wear the uniform one day per week, usually Thursday. Failure to wear the uniform on three occasions is grounds for removal from the program.
