FastAid. This site contains is consistently updated. Fastweb has information regarding how to apply for scholarships, basic information on what financial aid consists of, and includes links to several sites on college entrance and scholarship search. User may do a custom search and is able to select specific scholarships from the initial search and save them.

Guaranteed Scholarships. This site lists scholarships awarded by specific schools to students who qualify.These scholarships require no essays, interviews, or competition.

University of Minnesota Scholarship Search Engines. A long list of numerous scholarship search engines.

JUNIORS: Check back for scholarships available to juniors.

FAFSA on the Web. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the federally approved application for financial aid. It generates information for colleges to determine a student's eligibility for grants, work study, loans, and some forms of need- based scholarships. For this year's seniors, the FAFSA cannot be completed until the family completes its 2008 taxes, or after January 1, 2009. This application is free and can be completed online at the above link.

Current Scholarship Opportunities

Tozer Foundation Scholarship

Available to students living in or addending school in Washington, Kanabec, or Pine Counties only. This scholarship rewards outstanding students with strong test scores, leadership skills, community contribution and involvement in activities.

Application MUST be turned in to North High Guidance Office by January 28, 2010
(DO NOT mail application to Tozer Foundation, Inc.)
Application must include:

1. Completed Scholarship Application
2. No More Than Two Letters of Recommendation
3. Applicant Personal Letter to the Tozer Foundation Scholarship Committee
4. Yellow Student Information Form (to be used for letter of recommendation written by counselor) available in Guidance Office
