The following are 2009-2010 school year dates for tests that directly affect educational, vocational, and personal planning at North High School. Practice GRAD tests are available through the District website.

PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test)

Advanced Placement (AP) Testing (voluntary and requires a fee)
Grades 10-12 - May 3-14
Total testing time for each exam is between 3-4 hours.
If you have questions, talk to your AP teacher or see Mr. Schmit in the Guidance Office. General information about Advanced Placement can be found on the CollegeBoard website.
ACT (American College Testing Program)
Grades 11 and 12 for college admission- voluntary and requires a fee
11th graders should take the ACT in the spring, 12th graders in the fall.

ACT News You Can Use Newsletter:
ACT's monthly News You Can Use electronic newsletter provides short articles to inform students and parents about college and career planning. Schools may use these articles in emails, handouts, newsletters, school newspapers, and on school websites. The articles are written for a student audience, but may be rewritten for parents.
