TODAY:

MANDATORY FALL BASEBALL MEETING: TODAY, November 6, at 3:00 p.m. in the media Center. Meeting will last 15 to 30 minutes.

13 ANNUAL MASTERWORKS CONCERT: The North Concert and Bel Canto choirs will join the Tartan Choirs for this wonderful concert event Saturday, November 7, at 7:00 p.m. at Tartan High School. Students will be singing Vivaldi “Gloria” with a community orchestra followed by the Hallelujah Chorus”. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for students and seniors.

FRENCH CAMP: The deadline for applications and a $50 non-refundable deposit is due TODAY, November 6. See Madame Sandberg or Madame Cook for an application.

GIRLS BASKETBALL CAPTAIN’S PRACTICES: TODAY, November 6, from 3:00 – 5:00. Come ready to work. Captains Lisa Loeffler, Megan Luger, Laura Savat.

SENIOR PARTY BAKE SALE: THANK YOU to all the parents, family, friends, and staff who supported the Senior Party Bake Sale during conferences. We could not have had such a successful event without the help of each and every one of you. Whether you baked goods, volunteered at the table, or came and bought dessert, WE APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HELP.

STARGAZERS SELL WEATHERGUIDE CALENDARS: Support your school astronomy club by purchasing a Weatherguide full of useful astronomy, weather, nature information and pictures. Cost is only $17 which is less than in the stores. There is a wall calendar or a weekly planning calendar for the same price. Contact Mr. Lynum at jlynum@isd622.org or 748-6143.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES: The next FCA meeting is Monday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the North High Media Center

SENIOR ALL NIGHT PARTY PLANNING MEETING: The next Senior All Night Graduation Party planning meeting will be Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the North St. Paul Community Center. We need your help to make it a success!

ROME 2011: Ever wondered what the coliseum in Rome actually looks like? For all students interested in potentially traveling to Italy for Spring break in 2011, there will be an informational meeting regarding some important details of the trip Wednesday, November 11, after school in room 123. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to see a part of the world that you have maybe only read about in books. For additional information please contact Mr. Helm or Mr. Larson.

BOY’S BASKETBALL PLAYERS: Meeting for 10–12 grade basketball players Wednesday, November 11, at 3:00 p.m. Contact Coach Coury if you are unable to attend.

BURGER KING NIGHT: Have dinner at Burger King on Thursday, November 12, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Put your receipt in the box in the lobby. The Burger King on Century/120, will donate a percentage of the receipts to our All Night Senior Party! Support this local business and support our seniors at the same time!

FRIDAY THE 13th is SADIE HAWKINS DANCE!: Girls ask a guy to the dance and enjoy from 8-11 pm in the gym. GUESTS ARE WELCOME! Tickets are $8.00 or $7.00 with a food donation. Tickets are now on sale in room 320. They will also be sold on Thursday and Friday, November 12 and 13, at lunchtime in the Coffee Cave.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN SKING OR SNOWBOARDING? How does going to Spirit Mountain, Wild Mountain and other popular ski & snowboarding places with a bunch of friends sound? See Mr. Shey in the Media Center for information and a permission slip to be part of North High’s Ski & Snowboarding Club. You don’t have to be a great skier or snowboarder, all abilities are welcome. Space is limited.
